TEA HOUSE outfought Baguio College of Technology in the fourth period Friday night, hacking out a 102-90 victory in bracket A of the 22nd Friendship Cup basketball invitational at the Easter College gym.
Haynes Acdong had a flawless fourth period and the restaurateurs riddled the technical-vocational school with a barrage of three points en route to their second victory after three starts in the 12-year-old amateur basketball tournament in the city.

Acdong had 25 points to lead Tea House, 23 in the pay-off canto including four triples to cut loose from a tight game with a big opening blast in the final quarter to hand BCT its first loss after two clean starts.
It was a tough contest all the while where Tea House had to endure BCT's comeback in the third period when they enjoyed only a three point lead, 51-48, with less than five minutes left in the quarter after the restaurateurs controlled most of the first half.
It proved to be their last stand, as BCT faltered right at the close of the third period.
BCT also shot poorly in the three point arc missing 13 out of 17, four in the first half and nine in the second half while Tea House was had eight out of 15 shooting beyond the arc, seven in the second half.
Four other restaurateurs scored in double digits with Sangyen Campos and slotman Dave Stapley chipping in 17 and 16 points while Kirk Tamiray and Vonjovie Palma contributing 11 points apiece.
Christian Galace top billed for the BCT squad with his game high 37 points while John Carlo Ordunia and Arturo Advincula adding 17 and 11 points each.
Tea House romped off with a 25-16 advantage at the close of the first period but BCT came within one in the second quarter, 41-40 with less than 1:22 remaining.
The restaurateurs enjoyed a five point advantage at the end of the second period, 45-40 before BCT finally caught up with Tea House and take the driver seat for the first time in the ballgame, 45-46 with 8:42 left.
Philex and Brookside remain winless in the tournament occupying the bottom two of their bracket with 0-1 and 0-2 win, loss cards.
