MANILA — Malacañang said Sunday that President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will be a picture of a “fighting and determined” leader when she delivers her State of the Nation Address (Sona) Monday.
“You are in for a very interesting State of the Nation Address (Sona) tomorrow (Monday), where you will see a fighting and a determined President,” Press Secretary Cerge Remonde said.
Remonde said the Sona, which will focus on education and the economy, will be “very interesting” and will show a “different President.” It will be delivered before a joint session of Congress Monday.
Arroyo’s Sona coincides with the sixth anniversary of the Oakwood Mutiny of 2003, when a group of soldiers calling themselves as “Magdalo” staged a coup against the government at Oakwood Hotel in Makati City.
Remonde said Arroyo will “shine the spotlight on education” during her address because “education to the young people, especially the poor and all Filipino people, is sacred to a better life.” (more)

Please, let us also rate the critics and opposition and see what the people will say. If really they can do what they claim should and must be done.
Some of them had the chance to do what they now said must be done but were they able to do it?
I think this can be one of the questions in the “presidentiables forum.”
Most of the presidentiables had one way or the other the power to do what they say must be done.
