The Prudential Bank and Trust Company building stands behind the Basilica Minore del Santo Nino, at the corner of D. Jakosalem and Magallanes Sts. It was built in the early 1900’s in the middle of what was still the city’s main business district.

‘Broken Pieces’

Mirror pieces break
like crystals in my chest,
Even though I did my best,
Sorceress heart turns
to crystal blue,
Drops to leaves like morning dew.

In the eyes of the beholder,
Lie tears that will never be over,
Waiting for something was
such a waste of time,
Drops to a deeply,
lovely rhyme…
