One look at this multi-color haired, Goth-like preteen, you will definitely think that she is totally weird. But Creepie doesn’t care about what you think. Yes, her name is Creepie, a shorter and cuter term for Creepella. And yes, it has an almost ‘insect’ ring to it.

That’s because Creepie’s parents are insects. Creepy? Sort of.

Creepie was left on the doorstep of the abandoned Dweezwold Mansion when she was an infant. An unlikely duo for husband and wife, a mosquito and a praying mantis picked up the human infant and raised her as their own.
Creepie grew up in the care of her adoptive parents, a very strict yet compassionate praying mantis of a mother named Caroleena and a lenient and peace-loving mosquito of a father, Vinnie. She has two brothers, both insects of course, the very jovial Pauly, a pillbug who is the joker of the family and the youngest brother, Gnat, a hyperactive wolf-bug who goes with Creepie to school by hitching on her backpack and gets them both in trouble.

Despite having insects for parents and siblings, Creepie grew up to be a normal girl, except for her taste in clothes. She learned important lessons from her mother, such as taking in everything that life has to offer and learning from these experiences. From her father, Creepie was taught to be nonjudgmental and love her fellow earth residents, regardless of species.

Creepie thinks of her school, Middlington Middle School as a jungle because she has to deal with different ’species’. Almost everyone at school thinks of Creepie as creepy but she doesn’t really mind what others think of her. She figures that since she’s forced to live among her human classmates, Creepie might was well do something to deal with them. If other people can’t and don’t want to deal with Creepie because she’s different, that would be their problem.
