That’s Right
That’s Right, Kidsters! When typhoons with heavy rains and strong winds come, what do you do? Of course there are no classes, so it is best you stay at home and be prepared.
When electricity is cut due to strong winds, try not to open your refrigerators often as you should try to save as much of the coolness inside. You do not know how long the brownout will last.
When night time comes, never play with candles, as this can cause fires. Stay indoors at all times so as not to give problems to your elders. Stay clean so you can save on water.
How many of you get frightened when there are strong winds , thunderstorms, lightning and heavy rains? You cannot tell what will break and fall in your area. It is dangerous to go out of your house and play with the water.
Help keep the inside of your house clean. During daytime, and the typhoon is still around, just read and read or you may even listen to your battery-powered radio. It is always better to know what is happening around you and be thankful that you are safe and warm. Many may not be as lucky as you.
When super typhoons come, be safe by staying inside your homes and help your elders by being obedient at all times.
