Be Honest

That’s right, Kidsters. Your Tita Dulce wants to remind you to be honest in all that you do. Being honest means saying the truth at all times. No small or white lies
If you did not do your homework because you were watching television instead, be honest and admit it.
Sure, you will get scolded but as I just read recently, be honest enough to admit your mistake for watching television instead of doing your homework. You know it was wrong and you wasted precious time. Learn the lesson from your mistake and remember it. Do not dwell on the scolding or the punishment. Think of the lesson learned. You know, Kidsters, if you make this a habit, because it is the right thing to do and it is an important value, you will not only feel good, but you will also be known for this value and people will like you for this all throughout your life.
You will also have a good name which is more important than having plenty of money earned dishonestly. Most of all, you will have the respect of people, young and old. Your parents, teachers, relatives will be proud of you and you will enjoy a good reputation. You will be known as having integrity, which is also another word for being a sincere and honest.
Do you know of honest people in your life today? Tell me their story and what became of them. Till next time.
