A one peso coin will give access to these computer games.
Patrick Ozon, 24, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science thought of having a one-peso computer game, and used an old laptop with built-in games located at T.Padilla and Villa Zacate in Basak, Pardo, Cebu City. For a four-minute game, one only pays one peso.
With his one-peso computer game, one can play various games such as Text Twist and chess.. Other games like Bookworm, Scrabble, Boat Puzzle and Granny’s Adventure are some of the mind-challenging games.
Text Twist is a word puzzle that gives a set of letters to be arranged in correct order. Chess is a recreational and competitive game played by two players.
The important thing for parents now is their children’s education. Studies can be affected if too much time is given in playing computer games.
Jesu Dibdi, 35, a father of two boys, computers have an advantage to anyone, especially to students. Although there is a limitation for kids, most kids prefer to use computers for fun than for their educational purposes. He said he allows his children to play computer games with limitations. As a concerned father he guides his children while they play.
Parents like Dibdi let their kids discover the wonder and fun in playing, but they guide them while they play. Dibdi gives them three pesos only for playing.
Another father, Marlon Abanto, 33, father of two boys, has another approach. His children’s studies are not affected because they make their assignments first before playing computer games. He allows them to play computer games so that they will not be bored.
