FILIPINO World Boxing Council super-featherweight champion Manny Pacquiao scored a unanimous-decision triumph over Marco Antonio Barrera of Mexico on Sunday at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Pacquiao, who improved his record to 44 wins, three losses and two draws, opened the fight very aggressively and continued to outwork Barrera throughout the 12-round fisticuff. (more…)

Pacquiao continued his attack in the 11th stanza, wounding Barrera under the right eye. Pacquiao nearly scored a knockdown with a solid left to the face of Barrera, who was deducted a point as he unleashed a punch while the referee was trying to break the two fighters apart.
