Float of Baguio Country Club
On March - 1 - 2009
The Egyptian theme of the Baguio Country Club was a sure hit Sunday (March 1) at the Panagbenga Float Parade.
Amazed by the ladies doing the so-called belly dancing, the crowd kept on cheering their float design.
Baguio Country Club won three successive Best Float design — 2004, 2005, and 2006.
Its last design was even brought down to Manila during a feature of the country’s best festivals, where, as expected, it made a lot of jaws drop.

i was a resident of Baguio who is working here in Madrid. i watched the celebration of panagbenga festival 2009 through youtube and it improves a lot. but i am not satisfied of these videos you have in youtube kc bitin. if there is a possibility, can i ask your good office to add more at least a long video especially in float parade, so even though we are not there to watch the festival personally, through youtube videos we will feel that we joined you in celebrating the panagbenga 2009. thanks a lot and more power.

Atorni, na-miss mo floats natin. 3 floats yan: yung gator ni Romy sa golf course, un ang ginamit ni ADL at Sir Freddie, may floral deco; then yung pyramid, sa loob noon is the communications and control room and yung ating mga doves, nag-palipad kami ulit ng doves na 100; then of course the Sphinx. Ang gumawa ng props, siempre Eng’g, si Danny & Jersey; tulong tulong kami sa mga seksing golden ladies in waiting sa costume nila. Yung costume ni Julius Ceasar at ni Cleopatra, si Danny, Jersey, Auring and Minda, kasama na ako sa bead works sa ulo ni cleopatra. Ang BIGAT nong headwear ni cleopatra, 4 kgs ata yun. Yung gamit ni Julius Ceasar, career ni sir Danny yan, gamit lang nya resin - ung ginagamit ng dentist ata yun. It was a 1 and 1/2 month production. Mahirap gumawa ng costumes, tapos sabay pa sa operations… Anyway, the whole concept was from ADL, then brainstorming kami ng at least 3 sessions. Si Kabayan ang gumawa sa Sphinx, nilagyan ng flowers nina Romy. Makita mo ung brown flower? RU-OT dayta padre, nagado diay South Drive. Anyway, sayang kung nandito ka sana di ikaw ang SOG…sa harap ng float, si Pareng Edwin and Ading Monroe ang nandoon…huah!!!
