2 teachers abducted in Basilan

TWO teachers were reportedly kidnapped by unidentified suspects in Lamitan town, Basilan province, Monday morning.
In a Bombo Radyo report, Basilan police identified the victims as Cecilia Sosas and Merlyn Yacapin, both teachers of the Baas Elementary School in Lamitan.
A radio report said that armed men abducted the teachers around 11 a.m.
Investigation and follow-up operations are ongoing. (Sunnex)
