MANILA - The second State of the Nation Address (Sona) of President Benigno Aquino III scheduled July 25 will be delivered in Filipino, the Palace said Saturday.

Aquino’s first Sona was also delivered in Filipino.

Deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte said the official English translation of Auqino’s speech will be provided to members of the media.

Earlier this week, the Palace vowed there will be no leakage of the Sona this year. Last year, the Palace communications group was criticized by the media after a copy of the Aquino’s speech was leaked to a television network. (Kathrina Alvarez/Sunnex)
