MALACANANG does not want to dignify anymore the issue involving the posting of supposedly three mobile phone numbers of President Benigno Aquino III on a social networking site by an alleged Filipino hacker.
"In our judgment and at least as far as the President is concerned, we don't want to dignify those alleged numbers with a response," said deputy presidential spokesperson Abigail Valte in an interview over dzRB Radyo ng Bayan.

CEBU CITY -- The Low Pressure Area (LPA) that was earlier estimated east of Surigao City has developed into a tropical depression and was named "Emong."
In its latest bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Emong was located at 370 kilometers east of Catarman, Northern Samar as of 4 p.m. Sunday.

CONFISCATED elephant tusks will no longer be set on fire on Friday amid protest from groups that saw the original plan of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) as virtual endorsement to open burning.
“I have already instructed the PAWB (Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau) to forego the ceremonial burning. But just the same, the confiscated tusks weighing about five tons will be crushed as planned using road rollers,” said Environment Secretary Ramon Paje on Sunday.
