Aquino to attend Chinese-Filipino Business Club Convention Thursday

PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino III will keynote the 7th Biennial Convention of the Chinese-Filipino Business Club, Incorporated (CFBCI) that will be held at the Centennial Hall of the Manila Hotel on Thursday.

The President will be joined by Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo, CFBCI president Lino Uy, and Manila Hotel Chairman Emilio Yap.

The President will also witness the ceremonial turnover of 30 motorcycle keys to Police Director General Nicanor Bartolome symbolizing the CFBCI’s support for the ongoing transformation and upgrade program of the Philippine National Police.

The Chinese Filipino Business Club, Inc. (CFBCI) was organized as a socio-civic, non-profit organization whose primary goal is to support the government in its goal of creating an environment conducive to job creation and economic advancement.

Established in 1998, CFBCI is now composed of 400 members from all over the Philippines whose membership includes pillars of the Chinese-Filipino trade and commerce, manufacturing, construction, banking, and other industries. (Jill Beltran/Sunnex)
