'Police asset' killed in Cebu

A MAN believed to be a police asset was shot down in Cebu City before Thursday dawn.

A radio report said a motorcycle riding suspect shot to death Michael Erasmo, 36, at L. Flores Street in Barangay Pasil around 3 a.m.

Erasmo reportedly sustained five gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.

The report said Erasmo was just walking when he was shot by the suspect.

Police are still verifying information if victim was really a police asset and if the killing had something to do with it.
