Lahore- Ahmadiyya forum slated

CEBU CITY – The Lahore-Ahmadiyya Islamic Society Philippines (LAIS-Phil) will hold a forum dubbed “The Islamic Concept of Democracy and Consultative Governance” at the Albert Van Gasewinkel Hall, USC Law Building on February 22 from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Lawyer Fazeel Khan, Esq., a notable Islam resource person of LAIS-Phil, will grace the forum, which aims to reshape individual and group perceptions of the Muslim world.
LAIS-Phil, a movement for Islamic reform, tolerance, pluralism and peace-making, organized the forum with the Political Science Program of the Social Sciences Division, Political Science Society of the University of the Philippines- Cebu College, Political Science Program School of Law and Governance of the University of San Carlos and the Carolinian Political Science Society.
