3,825 pass March 2012 Criminology board exam

THE Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday that 3,825 out of 11,748 passed the March 2012 Criminologist Licensure Examination.

The Board of Criminology conducted the exam in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last March 2012.

Jubert Ocio Bagaporo of Cagayan de Oro College bested all the examinees, with a passing score of 92.90 percent.

Philippine College of Criminology's Kristoffer Robert Buitre Fajardo and University of the Cordilleras's Sergie Buenafe Florague shared the second spot with 90.35 percent passing score.

Included in the top 10 examinees list are:

3rd place - Rey Niño Buenaventura Abucay of Cagayan de Oro College and Yen Bad-e Cabbigat of University of the Cordilleras (90.15 percent)

4th place - Venus Gadgadan Estima - University of the Cordilleras (89.85 percent)

5th place - Rowena Duropan of Holy Name University and Alan Lad Aquino Santos of ICCT Colleges Foundation Inc. (89.70 percent)

6th place - Marie Rojan Santos Padua - Philippine College of Criminology (89.50 percent)

7th place - Rachel Wandag Cayangao - University of the Cordilleras (89.45 percent)

8th place - Henry Gatinao Gaborno - University of Iloilo (89.40 percent)

9th place - Jess Baniwas Evasco - University of the Cordilleras (89.35 percent)

10th place - Migjayne Negrete De Castro - Universidad de Manila (89.30 percent)

The PRC also announced the results of examination with respect to seven examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will start on April 23 until April 25.

The date and venue for the oath taking ceremony of the new successful examinees will yet to be announced.
