MANILA -- The condition of Comedy King Dolphy continues to improve, his son Eric Quizon said in a press conference at the Makati Medical Center Friday afternoon.
“As of today, maganda yung naging improvement…Marami ang maliliit na improvements…,” Eric said.
Eric said his father is still breathing through his neck and underwent dialysis Friday but his kidney function has improved.
Dolphy also didn’t undergo blood transfusions for the past two days and the doctors said he is no longer suffering from internal bleeding. His father’s stomach and intestines are also functioning well, Eric said.
“He is still undergoing dialysis, but hopefully, this will stop… He will be off to dialysis this weekend…We’ll see the improvement,” he said.
Eric said his father earlier asked for orange juice and water, and asked them to bring him home.
“Uwi na tayo, uwi na tayo,” Eric quoted Dolphy as saying.
Eric said the doctors, however, are still monitoring Dolphy’s condition, thus the family cannot bring him home yet.
Eric thanked supporters and friends of his father who continue to pray for Dolphy’s recovery.
“Thank you everyone, sa lahat ng mga nagdasal at nagmamahal sa daddy ko,” he said. (Sunnex)
