Farmer killed in carabao attack

CEBU CITY -- A farmer was gored to death by his carabao (water buffalo) in Ronda town, Cebu.
The fatality was identified as Francisco de Aquino, 56, a farmer, who suffered multiple injuries after he was attacked by his carabao.
In an interview over dyMF, Police Officer 2 Pipo Asnag, desk officer of Ronda Police Station, said the victim’s wife asked for help but when she got back, de Aquino was already dead.
After the incident, the victim’s family sold the carabao, which was eventually slaughtered to avoid such incidents in the future. (Sunnex)
