CEBU CITY -- Filipinos polled by Sun.Star website during President Benigno Aquino III's State of the Nation Address (Sona) were divided over the present administration's performance in the last two years.
Sun.Star website, at www.sunstar.com.ph, ran a poll on social networking site Facebook and micro-blogging site Scribblelive for at least three hours during Aquino's Sona on July 23, asking respondents to rate the President's performance since he took office in 2010.
On Facebook, 33 of those who took the poll voted "poor," while eight picked "fair," five "excellent," and one "good."
On Scribblelive, on the other hand, 50 persons or 29 percent of the 171 total respondents considered the President's performance "excellent."
Coming in close second were those who thought Aquino's performance in the last two years was "fair," with 48 votes or 28 percent.

Forty persons or 23 percent of the total respondents voted "good," while 35 respondents or 20 percent voted "poor."
Most of the respondents on Facebook and Scribblelive were Filipinos, aged 18 and above. They watched President Aquino’s Sona through the live streaming provided by Sun.Star website, courtesy of the People’s Television Network.
The President, in his speech, outlined the achievements of his administration - from agriculture, infrastructure, education, national defense, employment, and to the government's anti-corruption drive. A timeline of his Sona can be accessed at Sun.Star's PNOY special section.
Readers can also watch a replay of the President's address to the nation in that page. A transcript of his speech in Filipino and English versions is also available, among other features. (Sunnex)
