5.3-magnitude quake rocks Occidental Mindoro

A 5.3-magnitude tremor jolted Lubang town in Occidental Mindoro province Tuesday afternoon, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Philvocs) said.
In its initial bulletin on Tuesday, Philvocs said the earthquake's epicenter was traced at 13.86°North, 119.74°East - 42 kilometers North 89° West of Lubang, Occidental Mindoro.
The quake of tectonic origin was recorded at 1:03 p.m. Tuesday and expected to have aftershocks.
No casualties and damages to properties were reported as of this posting.
Philvocs also reported that an intensity-2 earthquake was also recorded in Pasay City and Clark Pampanga while intensity 1 in Quezon City. (PNA)
