MANILA -- Airlines will allow their passengers who have scheduled trips Tuesday to rebook flights without penalties following rains that battered Metro Manila and nearby areas.
Most of the roads leading to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) are flooded due to the inclement weather experienced in Metro Manila.
"Due to the current flood situation, flights booked for today can be moved for free. Please contact our call center at 588-9999 or e-form," AirAsia Philippines said in its Twitter account, @AirAsiaPH.
Zest Air will also allow its passengers to rebook without penalty, it said.
"If on a Zest flight today but can't make it due to the floods, Zest will allow you to rebook w/in 30 days (no penalties) or full refund! Be safe!" the airline posted in its official Twitter account, @FlyZest.
Cebu Pacific meanwhile has given their passengers an option to either to rebook their flights within 30 days or store in their Travel Fund without penalties.
In its Facebook page, Philippine Airlines said it will waive rebooking fees of passengers but such is subject to fare and booking class seat availability. (Kathrina Alvarez/Sunnex)
