MANILA -- Oil firms raised on Tuesday prices of some fuel products.

Petron raised prices of its gasoline by P0.80 centavos per liter; diesel by P0.40 centavos per liter; and kerosene by P0.30 centavos per liter effective 6 a.m., citing movements in the international oil market.

Shell also implemented a similar price adjustment effective 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Petrol Price said Total has also increased its prices of its products starting 6 a.m. today, Tuesday -- P0.80 centavo per liter hike in premium, unleaded and regular gas; and P0.40 centavo per liter increase in diesel.

Tuesday marked the fifth week that oil firms increased prices of their products since July.

Early July, oil firms had implemented price hikes, ending 12 weeks of rolling back prices of their products. (PNA/Sunnex)
