China wins Miss World 2012

TWENTY-three-year-old Yu Wenxia won the coveted Miss World title, beating 115 beauties around the world.
Held at Dongsheng Fitness Center Stadium in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on Saturday, the pageant was watched by more than one billion viewers in over 160 countries.
Wenxia, a music student, was an early favorite in the competition.
This is the second time China won the title. The first was in 2007 when Zhang Zilin bagged the crown.
Business student Sophie Elizabeth Moulds of Wales placed first runner-up while law student Jessica Kahawaty of Australia settled for second runner-up.
Philippines' very own Queneerich Rehma did not make it to the Top 7 but was noticed around the world for her beat-boxing talent.
The 24-year-old Filipina who hailed from Las Pinas City was featured in The Huffington Post, Time.com, and United Kingdom's Daily Mail.
Rehma also proved to be a strong contender, having been shortlisted for Beach Fashion and Top Model events. She also emerged as part of the Top 5 candidates in the talent competition.
Indonesia will host the 63rd Miss World pageant next year. (Sunnex)
