MANILA -- The Philippine National Police (PNP) released on Monday a sketch of one of the four alleged "abductors" of high-profile detainee Rolito Go and his nephew.
The computer-generated sketch produced by the PNP Crime Laboratory referred to the supposed leader of the alleged abductors, according to the police.
Based on Go's depictions, the sketch also described the still unidentified abductor as 5'5" to 5'6" tall, 85 to 90 kilograms in weight, dark-complexioned, and medium-built.
The abductor, supposedly aged between 35 to 38 years old, was also described as wearing a white shirt, a red jacket, and denim pants.
He was also allegedly armed with a caliber .45 pistol.
On the evening of August 14, Go and his nurse-nephew Clemence Yu were reported missing from the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City. The following day, he resurfaced and was reported to be under the custody of the PNP.
His family then went to the NBP, claiming that they received a call from the businessman's abductor who demanded a P1-million ransom for their release.
Yu's mother, who is also Go's sister, claimed that she was able to contact the two, who confirmed that they were kidnapped.
Go was convicted in 1993 by the Pasig City Regional Trial Court for killing 25-year-old Eldon Maguan, a De La Salle University engineering graduate, following a minor traffic altercation in San Juan City in 1991.
He has been serving his life sentence as a living-out prisoner at the NBP. (Emmanuel Louis Bacani/Sunnex)
