Philippine team shines in 2012 World Dragon Boat

THE Philippine Canoe Kayak Federation (PCKF) Dragonboat Team bagged six golds and one silver during the four-day World Dragonboat Championships held recently in Milan Italy, a television report said.
The seven awards were from the seven categories the team competed in.
The Philippine team bested Russia and the United States by winning three gold medals in the Open category of the 200-meter events, GMA news agency said.
They also bagged four medals (3 golds, 1 silver) in the 500-meter events:
