MANILA -- Classes have been suspended in several schools in Metro Manila Tuesday following heavy rains Monday night.

In the University of Santo Tomas, classes in all levels were suspended due to the numerous number of students inside their campus in Espana Boulevard, Manila.

Classes have also been suspended in Saint Jude College, and Eton International School, both in its Quezon City and Manila campus.

The University of the East meanwhile has suspended its preschool to high school classes in both its Manila and Caloocan campus.

In an advisory issued 7:10 a.m., the state weather bureau said all thunderstorm warnings have already been terminated. (Kathrina Alvarez/Sunnex)
