TWO people went missing as flood waters submerged their house in the village of Siocon, Zamboanga del Norte on Monday, a radio report said.

The names of the missing people are not yet known as of this posting Monday night.

Barangay Siocon was placed on Monday under state of calamity, Bombo Radyo said, adding that around 4,000 families were affected by the flashfloods.

Around 800 people were also evacuated on Monday after flashfloods hit the village of Vitali in Zamboanga City, which was also placed under state of calamity.
