Magnitude 5.2 tremor rocks Zamboanga Norte-A A +A

A MAGNITUDE 5.2 earthquake jolted the province of Zamboanga del Norte around 2:25 p.m. Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, was located at 27 kilometers southwest of Sergio Osmeña Sr., Zamboanga, according to Phivolcs earthquake bulletin.
The Phivolcs said Intensity 1 was felt in Cagayan De Oro City, Cebu City, and Iloilo City, while Intensity 2 was felt in Dipolog City; Lugait, Misamis Oriental; and Tampilisan and Manukan, Zamboanga del Norte.
Intensity 3 was felt in Zamboanga City; Dumaguete City; Labason and Polanco, Zamboanga del Norte; including Oroquieta City, Misamis Occidental; Zamboanga Sibugay province; and Sibulan, Negros Oriental, the Phivolcs added.
Intensity 4, meanwhile, was felt in Pagadian City and Sindangan in the province of Zamboanga del Norte. (Sunnex)
