26 hurt in Romblon road mishap-A A +A

TWENTY-SIX people were injured in a vehicular accident Tuesday morning in the province of Romblon, the National Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) reported Wednesday.
According to NDRRMC, initial investigation showed that the jeepney with license plate DVA 358 operated by Ronald Faner Sacapano was traversing Barangay Paroyhog, Sta. Maria but failed to negotiate the steep part of the road that caused vehicle to stumble.
Wounded are Jane Waren Manes, 37, Shannel Manes, 3, Sarah Manzala, 20, Rosalinda Famis, 45, John Derek Famis, 5, Nenita Manzala, 59, Laila Del Mundo, 45, Linelyn Juanzo, 29, Mc. Allen Sharex Juanzo, 9, Stella Marie Fajilan, 4, Maricel Fajilan, 24, Karen Famorcan, 23, Almodena Mores, 20, Marjean Trivalles, 34, Ken Jhazel Francisco, 3, Milagros Fabriquer, 67, Corazon Fajutnao, 56, Aylen Mortha Micate , 32, Romelyn Francisco, 28, Jenny Merida, 25, Carl John Tresvalles, 10, Angelyn Merida, 29, John Andrei Merida, 3, Myrna Ferrera, 38, Melyn Mantes, 31, and Renz Fajutnao, 4.
The injured were treated in different hospitals in the province. Six were brought to the regional health unit in Santa Maria, while 17 others were brought to Don Modesto Formilleza Sr. Memorial Hospital in Looc, Romblon. Three were brought to the Romblon Provincial Hospital. (Sunnex)
