MANILA -- Five vehicles figured in a multiple collision along a part of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) in Pampanga on All Saints' Day.

In its Twitter account, the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) said the accident occurred at the 57+200 area of NLEx.

A radio report said four private vehicles and a passenger bus were involved in the collision near the toll exit in San Simon town.

At least six persons were reportedly injured and were brought to a hospital, according to the TRB.

The accident site was cleared at 9:14 a.m. while the town police have taken over the incident, the TRB added.

In its Twitter account, the NLEx management said the travel time from Balintawak to Dau, Pampanga, is 94 minutes as of 10:39 a.m.

And as of 11 a.m., heavy traffic was monitored at the NLEx toll plazas in Balintawak, Mindanao Avenue, and Dau.

The volume of vehicles in NLEx has since increased as passengers and private motorists return to their provinces to visit the graves of their departed loved ones on Thursday. (Emmanuel Louis Bacani/Sunnex)
