MANILA -- It will be generally fair weather today but expect brief rainshowers so bring your umbrella when going to the cemetery, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
Weather Forecaster Gener Quitlong said there is no low-pressure area or weather disturbance near the Philippine Area of Responsibility at this time but the northeast monsoon or hangin amihan continues to affect Luzon.
Quitlong said it may also get warm in the afternoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated brief rainshowers or thunderstorms.
In its advisory, Pagasa said that the cold front across the Batanes group of island and the Cagayan Valley and the Ilocos and Cordillera regions will experience cloudy skies with light rains.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast and east with slight to moderate seas. (PNA)
