Bridge collapses in Slovakia; 3 workers dead

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia -- An official said a concrete highway bridge being built in eastern Slovakia has collapsed, killing at least three workers.
Slovakia rescue service spokesman Martin Ballay said two workers died immediately and one more died after being taken to a hospital. He said 15 other workers have been injured.
Ballay said 18 of them were on the bridge when the collapse happened Friday afternoon near the town of Kurimany.
The cause of the collapse was not immediately known. (AP)
