5.1-magnitude quake shakes Calayan, Cagayan

CEBU CITY -- A 5.1-magnitude earthquake shakes Calayan, Cagayan on Sunday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

In its website, Phivolcs said the quake's epicenter was 42 kilometers (km) west of Calayan, Cagayan at a depth of 16 km.

The quake's tremor occured at 2:07 a.m. of Sunday.

Phivolcs said there were no casualties or damage reported, however, aftershocks are expected. (Sunnex)
