3.5-magnitude quake hits Ilocos Sur

CEBU CITY -- A magnitude 3.5 hit Ilocos Sur at 1 a.m. of Saturday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Phivolcs said in its latest bulletin that the quake's epicenter was 33 kilometers (km) west of Vigan, Ilocos Sur at a depth of 32 km.
Phivolcs' data show the earthquake is tectonic in origin.
No damage to property was reported, while the Phivolcs expects no aftershocks after the quake. (Sunnex)
