Pacman camp to sue doc over ‘Parkinsons’ remark
-A A +ASunday, January 6, 2013
THE camp of Filipino boxing icon and Sarangani representative Manny Pacquiao is considering filing charges against a doctor for raising alarms that the Pacman is having possible signs of “Parkinson's disease.”
Earlier, neurological expert Dr. Rustico Jimenez said that the boxer is showing signs of Parkinson’s disease which include shaky hands and slur in speech.
These signs are evident on Pacquiao’s head trainer Freddie Roach who has Parkinsons.
Michael Koncz, adviser of Pacquiao, said that Jimenez's remark on Pacman’s health not only alarmed the Philippines but also the world even if it was just a speculation.
Koncz believes that the doctor's statement was unfair since he has not actually tested the boxer's physical condition. (Sunnex with wire reports)
