Boy, 3, killed in Cebu fire

CEBU CITY -- A three-year-old boy was killed and six houses were razed to the ground when a fire hit Barangay Bulacao, Talisay City, Cebu Monday night.
The fatality was identified as Mark Lester Tisoy by firefighters who responded to the scene.
Investigation showed that the victim was playing a match with his twin inside the house of their aunt Rosela Tisoy where the fire started.
The Talisay City Fire Station said the fire quickly spread to adjacent houses due to flammable materials inside Tisoy’s house used in making religious items including paint thinner.
In a tweet by @sunstarcebu, the boy was trapped in the house where his parents were busy making rush orders of Santo Niño icons.
According to the initial investigation, the damage of the fire was pegged close to P75,000. (Sunnex)
