8 police leaders assume new posts-A A +A

EIGHT officials of the Philippine National Police (PNP) have been designated to new key positions in the organization's command group, directorial staff, and police regional offices.
The latest round of reorganization was triggered by the upward movement of third level PNP officers occupying key positions in different levels of command, the police organization said.
Designated to new positions are:
Police Deputy Director General Rommel Heredia - acting deputy chief for administration
Police Director Ager Ontog – acting deputy chief for operations
Police Director Felipe Rojas - acting chief of directorial staff
Chief Superintendent Manuel Barcena - acting director, Directorate for Integrated Police Operations - Eastern Mindanao
Chief Superintendent Ricardo Marquez - acting regional director, Police Regional Office 1 (Ilocos)
Chief Superintendent Clarence Guinto - acting regional director, Police Regional Office 5 (Bicol)
Chief Superintendent Noel Delos Reyes - acting regional director, Police Regional Office in Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (Armm)
Chief Superintendent Getulio Napenas - acting regional director, Police Regional Office 13 (Caraga)
Heredia replaced retired Deputy Director General Emelito Sarmiento. His vacated post was then filled by Ontog, who was replaced by Rojas.
Last December 26, the PNP effected a minor reorganization and designated five police officials to new posts.
They are: Police Director Catalino Cuy - acting director for personnel and records management; Director Cipriano Querol Jr. - acting director for intelligence; Chief Superintendent Napoleon Estilles - acting director for plans; Chief Superintendent Carmelo Valmoria - acting director, Special Action Force; and Chief Superintendent Juanito Vano Jr. - acting regional director, Police Regional Office 9.
