CEBU CITY -- Two persons were injured when a motorcycle hit a pedestrian in front of the Sun.Star Building in P. del Rosario Street around 3:45 p.m. Thursday.
According to witnesses, the driver of the yellow motorcycle with plate number 4290-YB was speeding when, out of nowhere, a pedestrian crossed the street.
The motorcycle hit the pedestrian and crashed.
Both the driver and the pedestrian were lying flat on the street as onlookers rushed at the victims to check. Others called for medical assistance.
Investigation showed that the driver was a collector from a lending firm. He said he was speeding since it is still "Go" signal.
However, the pedestrian still can't be interviewed.
The incident caused a slight buildup of traffic along P. del Rosario Street. It is believed that both didn't have serious injuries to the head. (Buen Josef Andrade/Sunnex)
