Embassy officials ‘abusing OFWs’ ordered to come home
Wednesday, June 19, 2013 - 04:38 p.m.MANILA -- The three Philippine Embassy officials allegedly sexually abusing female overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) has been ordered by Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario to come home and face the investigation over the accusations made against them.
After a closed-door meeting with Akbayan party-list Representative Walden Bello Wednesday, Del Rosario said the three officials as well as the heads of the embassies in Kuwai, Damascus, and Jordan are being asked to come home to aid in the investigation.
