Aussie caught with ammos, magazines in NAIA

AN Australian national will face multiple charges after he was caught trying to leave the country carrying multiple kinds of ammunition magazines and bullets at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Terminal 2.

Authorities identified the suspect as John Andrew Straud, 42, from Australia.

It was said that the suspect came from Bacolod City and has a connecting flight going to Bangkok, Thailand when Aviation authorities apprehended him.

Less than a week ago, a Canadian national managed to enter a courthouse in Cebu City and shot dead two people and wounded another before finally shooting himself. (Sunnex with wire reports)
