Fire hits Cebu City village

CEBU CITY -- Personnel from the Cebu City Fire Department responded to a fire alarm in C. Padilla Street, Duljo Fatima Wednesday afternoon.
According to a radio report, the firefighters received the fire alarm around 1:58 p.m.
Firefighters immediately rushed to extinguish the fire which was initially reported to hit an area behind the San Nicolas church.
As of this posting, the city's fire department said the fire is now under control.
Fire investigators are still investigating the cause of the fire. (Sunnex)
