Fil-Spanish striker added to Azkals lineup

THE Philippine National Team “Azkals” has added another recruit to strengthen their lineup a month before the AFC Challenge Cup which is slated this March.
Azkals team manager Dan Palami said the addition of Filipino-Spanish Javier Patiño Lachica will greatly help the team.
The 24-year-old Patiño played striker for Cordoba CF, a Liga Adelante club in Spain. He has contributed 10 goals in his stint with the football club.
Palami said Juani Guirado convinced Javier to join the national football team.
Patiño, whose mother hailed from Cebu, said in a brief statement that he will incorporate to the Philippine Azkals what he has learned from his Spanish football club. (Sunnex)
