JUSTICE Secretary Leila de Lima issued a lookout bulletin on Monday after armed men snatched three Chinese nationals allegedly involved in illegal drugs trade while the foreigners were on their way to a court hearing in Cavite last week.
De Lima said she ordered Bureau of Immigration Commissioner Ricardo David Jr. to instruct his men to detain and turn over the following should they pass through immigration counters in any of the country’s international airports/seaports: Li Lan Yan (alias Jackson Dy), his wife Wang Li Na, and Li Tian Hua.
“You are further directed to take all other appropriate actions, including, but not limited to, coordinating with other concerned offices and agencies, and even airlines, especially since international passengers are customarily required to check-in a specified number of hours before their flight,” the order stated.
Reports said the three already left for Taiwan. (Virgil Lopez/Sunnex)
