3 quakes hit parts of Davao Region

THREE earthquakes hit various parts of the Davao Region on Saturday morning, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
Seismologists said at 9:57 a.m., a 4.8-magnitude earthquake jolted 51 kilometers (km) southeast of Don Marcelino, Davao del Sur. It had a depth of 56 kilometers.
At 10:10 a.m., a 4.2-magnitude earthquake also rocked 35 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental and had a depth of 49 kilometers. Intensity II was felt in Governor Generoso, Davao Oriental.
At 10:52 a.m., a 3.6-magnitude earthquake rocked Mati, Davao Oriental. It's epicenter was located at 142 kilometers and had a depth of 34 kilometers.
The earthquakes were all tectonic in origin, according to Phivolcs' latest update.
As of this posting, Phivolcs said that there were reported damages or casualties and no expected aftershocks. (Sunnex)
