Police return Napoles warrant to Makati court-A A +A

THE Philippine National Police (PNP) returned to a Makati court Thursday the arrest warrant issued for Janet Napoles, the businesswoman linked to the multi-billion peso pork barrel fund mess.
Napoles was not with the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group members led by Senior Superintendent Roberto Fajardo who returned the warrant to Judge Elmo Alameda of the Regional Trial Court branch 150.
Fajardo, CIDG chief in the National Capital Region, submitted the document at 11:30 a.m.
Radio reports said Napoles stayed at Camp Crame, where she had been staying since she was brought there from Malacanang on Wednesday night.
Napoles surrendered to President Benigno Aquino III at Malacañang Wednesday night. She was brought to Camp Crame in Quezon City.
She had been linked to a multi-billion peso scam involving Priority Development Assistance Fund of some lawmakers. (JK/Glaiza Jarloc/Sunnex)
