PRESIDENT Benigno Aquino III has named Navy Captain Raul Ubando as his new security chief.
Ubando will replace Brigadier General Ramon Mateo Dizon as head of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) in a change of command ceremonies at the PSG Grounds in Malacanang Friday afternoon.
At present, Ubando is the President's senior military aide. He is a member of the Philippine Military Academy Class of 1985.
Dizon, who turns 56 Friday, the mandatory retirement age, said that Ubando was chosen to succeed him because of his "qualifications and seniority."
