Suspected pork barrel scam brains Janet Napoles on Tuesday suffered from hypertension, headache and a tingling sensation in the face, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said.
PNP spokesperson Senior Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac said, Napoles complained of a tingling sensation in the left part of her face at 1 a.m., and her blood pressure shot up to 200/130 as of 4:43 a.m.
She also complained of nausea and headache, Sindac added.
But her blood pressure went down to 140/80 after she took medicine.
Napoles had been staying at Fort Sto. Domingo since Sunday, when she was transferred from the Makati City Jail.
Meanwhile, Sindac said Napoles' breakfast for the day included chicken hotdog, egg omelet and rice.
Her lunch menu includes chicken pochero, rice and banana, while dinner will be fried fish and vegetables, rice and pineapple. (JK/Sunnex)
