UP graduate tops geodetic engineer licensure exam-A A +A

CEBU CITY -- A graduate of the University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman topped the Geodetic Engineer Licensure Examination on September 2013.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Friday that 144 out of 384 passed the examination given by the Board of Geodetic Engineering in Manila this month.
UP Diliman's graduate Noel Jerome Barcellano Borlongan top the list of board passers, garnering 86.60 percent. He was followed by Feati University's gradute Kevin Guitan Garcia with a score of 86.20 percent. Another UP Diliman's graduate, John Ray Andalencio Bergado, made it to third place with a score of 86.00
The schools with the best performance are Lyceum of Aparri and Notre Dame of Marbel University with 100 percent passing rate.
University of the Philippines-Diliman (UP Diliman) landed third as best performing school with a rating of 95.65 percent, while Caraga State University (Butuan City) made it to fourth place with a rating of 88 percent.
Negros Oriental State University (CVPC)-Dumaguete landed fifth with a reating of 87.50 percent.
The PRC said the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees will be announced later.
Registration for the issuance of Professional identification card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on September 12 and 13, 2013, the PRC added.
Those who will register are required to bring the following:
1. Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
2. Current Community Tax Certificate (cedula)
3. One piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag)
4. Two sets of metered documentary stamps
5. One short brown envelope with name and profession
Registrants shall pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals, the PRC said. (JAC/Sunnex)
