ITCZ over Palawan, Visayas, Mindanao; expect rain-A A +A

The state weather bureau said Sunday that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affects most parts of the country, including Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.
In its n its 5 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao should expect cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the skies of Metro Manila, together with the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening.
Pagasa also said that the coastal waters over extreme Northern Luzon will be moderate to occasionally rough as moderate to occasionally strong winds from the Northeast affects the area.
"Winds from the Southeast to Northeast will prevail over the rest of Luzon," Pagasa also said, while winds from the Southwest to South will affect the rest of the country which in turn will have slight to moderate seas. (Sunnex)
