THE Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released Thursday the results of the Electrical Engineers and Master Electricians Licensure Examinations held this month.
The PRC announced in its website that 1,643 out of 3,063 registered electrical engineers and 773 out of 2,126 registered master electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations given by the Board of Electrical Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, and Zamboanga on September 2013.
Garnering 91.40 percent in the electrical engineers board is Charles Japeth Antones Dichoso, a graduate of Sorsogon State College-Sorgogon, while making it to the second spot is Christian Dayao Calonzo of the Bulacan State University with a rating of 91.30 percent.
Notre Dame of Mabel University's graduate Dennis Falco Marigon made it third with a score of 91.25 percent. Marigon was followed by University of Mindanao-Davao City's graduate Richard Talip Regidor with 89.80 percent and Melvin Pioc Lacia of the Mindanao State University-iligan Institute of Technology with a score of 89.60, as fourth and fifth placers, respectively.
The PRC also announced that 773 out of 2,126 registered master electricians successfully passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination.
Jimboy Villarin Dela Cruz, graduate of Vocational School, made it to the top with a rating of 89.50 percent. He was followed by Bohol Island State University-Calape's graduate Erwin Villorejo Gonzaga with a score of 89 percent.
Rommel Estiller Hiban of Sorsogon State College-Sorsogon and Ron Jason Austria Reyes of Secondary School landed third with a rating of 88.50 percent.
Chim patrick Pizzatas Baton (Bohol Institute of Technology-Tagbilaran City), Jagill Ramos Gallo (Polytechnic University of the Philippines Main-Sta. Mesa), Jared Hitosis Mapusao and Erikson Carillo Morales of Camarines Norte College-Daet landed fourth with a score of 87.50 percent.
Making it to fifth place are Jocelyn Descatamiento Eboña (Camarines Norte State College-Daet) and Roberto Salas Pantanosa with a score of 87 percent.
The top performing schools of the Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination are the following:
1. Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology,
University of Batangas, and University of the Philippines-Los Baños - 100 percent
2. University of Sto. Tomas - 96.49 percent
3. University of St. Louis-Tuguegarao - 94.12 percent
4. Bohol Island State university-Tagbilaran - 88.89 percent
5. Batangas State University-Batangas City - 84.62 percent
The results were released in three working days after the last day of examinations, the PRC said.
The PRC also said that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on September 23, 24 and 25, 2013.
Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016 for Registered Electrical Engineer; Initial Registration Fee of P450 and Annual Registration Fee of P420 for 2013-2016 for Registered Master Electrician.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examinations will be announced later. (JAC/Sunnex)
